International Train the Trainer (TTT) Model

30th June 2016

Proposed model:

Designed specifically for overseas teams, the model is comprised of 5 days of training for a new role - AMBIT Local Trainers (ALTs) who, after the 5 day training (5 days consecutively over the course of a week), will go back and train their local team - the intention is to support better implementation by developing more local ownership of the model and training, and leaving teams with more local expertise, supported by Training exercises in the web-based manual.

Assessment and accreditation

One year Review and Consultation

The AMBIT Lead peer-to-peer system is intended to support this model; whereby AMBIT Leads and AMBIT Local Trainers from different local teams are paired together - so that they can attend each others’ ‘in house’ trainings (preferably on a quid pro quo basis to reduce costs to local teams), helping to train neighbouring/other teams as well as their own, and in so doing offering a supportive outside perspective.
