Managing Risk

What's here?

This is one of the Core Features of AMBIT - it is one of a pair of elements of the AMBIT stance (the other is Scaffolding existing relationships) that are difficult to balance in face to face working - in settings where a young person has relationships that are either hard to assess or understand, or are seen as concerning, without perhaps offering clear evidence that they pass the threshold for justifying assertive (legal or social care) interventions.

Includes Governance...

This topic gathers together material related to the common theme of RISK, and included here is the topic of Governance - the broader approach to having clear agreements and protocols for "doing things safely and properly" that protects workers as well as the teams they work for. In earlier versions of AMBIT, "Clinical Governance" was the stance element, rather than the more generally applicable and understandable phrase "Managing Risk".
