Usage tracking logs as feedback for manual development (Jeremy 6/10)

We need a detailed usage tracking so as to understand more about how people navigate through the manuals.

  • What pages do they most visit?
  • What pages do they not visit? (do these pages need to be cut, or better signposted, or re-titled to draw more visitors?)
  • What pages are people on when they leave the manual (can we decide if they are leaving because they have got what they want, or because they have given up hope of finding what they want?!)
  • Is there a very simple, low friction, integrated qualitative user feedback form/button that we can create to get qualitative data?
