Some cases will not require team discussion every week, but every case should be brought to the meeting, even if briefly, on a regular basis.

During case discussion team members will bear in mind Case discussion techniques, and draw on these as required.

Ideally teams should open individual client files during case discussion and project these, so that TakeHomeMessages can be composed on the spot and entered. If not, hand written TakeHomeMessages can be produced, but it is the KeyWorker's responsibility to transfer these into the young person's file if that is the case.
