• Building a list of individuals or organisations in the local area who are from different cultures is an important part of a team's Mapping social-ecological resources.
• Sensitivity to issues of confidentiality in using a cultural consultant is crucial - families may be part of relatively small communities and there may be much greater anxiety that sensitive information that could be shaming might leak out into this community if another member of that community is involved with the team in this respect.
